Ben Gillham - RESTART Senior Employment Officer

I am Ben Gillham, the Support and Partnership Manager at Enable. When I started with the organisation as a Caseworker on the Work Routes Programme it was refreshing to see the level of support unemployed individuals had access to and how much of a difference this support made to people’s lives. 

I later moved into an Employer Engagement role on the Restart Programme when the Work Routes Programme ended, and I invested much of my time collaborating with Employers across Shropshire to pair jobseekers up with their vacancies. During my time on this scheme, I also made connections with multiple training providers and set up our own workshops to prepare unemployed individuals looking to gain employment.  

Recently, I started my new role as the Support & Partnership Manager collaborating with people to improve their current skillset to better their chances of securing employment.  

In my spare time I enjoy listening to live music, home cooking, socialising and golf.
