Debbie DeBanks - Senior Employment Advisor
Hi, I’m Debbie and I have worked with Enable for 5 years in various roles. I have worked in the Employment Related Services sector since 2012 working mostly across DWP Employment contracts. I joined Enable as a Support Manager on the Work and Health contract and after 12 months an opportunity arose for me to become a Team Leader on our Work Routes contract. Since then, I have worked as a Team Lead across different contracts and am currently working as a Senior Employment Advisor on our Talking Therapies Employment Service which covers Shropshire and Telford.
Within my current role, I support a team of employment advisors who work with clients that are receiving therapy from the NHS Talking Therapies Service. The aim is to help people with mental ill health to find, return to, or remain in work. I love working with people and am passionate about the positive difference that employment can make to people’s lives, which makes my role a very rewarding one.
Outside of work, I am a Mum of two grown up boys and a very proud Grandma of Twins. I believe that life is about making memories and enjoy going on holiday to places I have never visited before!
