Matt Newton - Team Leader IPS Drug & Alcohol Team

Hello, my name's Matt and I am the Team Leader for the Drug & Alcohol IPS Team, covering Shropshire and Telford. I have been working for Enable since 2014. In this time, I have gained experience working on several different projects, mainly centred around the IPS team. 

My current role revolves around supporting my team to provide the best support possible for any referrals we gain and support in how we work with the recovery teams, to our best ability to complement the way they support individuals.  

Outside of work, I love to spend my time with my wife and daughter and when I get the chance, I'm out playing golf with friends. I’ve always had a keen interest in cooking and help a friend with his street food company, when I can. Over the last few years, I have become slightly obsessed with cooking outdoors and have built my own BBQ smoker. Now I have plans to build a fully functioning outdoor kitchen for my BBQ's and pizza oven.
