Nicki Evans - Experts by Experience Lead

Hi, I’m Nicki, I started working for Enable in 2018 as an Expert By Experience (known then as an Employment Advocate) this is a role I have thrived in and enjoy the opportunity to share lived experience and have an impact on Mental health in the workplace through a variety of involvement from staff training, interview panel work to wellbeing walks.

I currently have the role of Expert by Experience Lead with the Mental health team in Enable, where I provide mentorship and support for experts and co-ordinate their work, something which I greatly enjoy.

I have previously worked in the Agricultural sector for many years and maintain strong ties to Farming and rural issues with mental health which I feel passionately about.

When not in work, I’m enjoying my garden, out with nature with my camera and entertaining the family dog, I love to travel where I can too.
