Client Success Story: Chloe

Chloe has now been in her placement at The Wyke for six months and is making excellent progress. She works well as part of the team and has learned a lot. Her commitment and attendance has improved and she knows what she needs to do for each of the horses she looks after, having formed a bond of familiarity with them over the past six months.

Chloe is now able to work independently for most of the day. As a result, her job coaching has been reduced. We discussed options for Chloe when she completes her Supported Internship and Chloe is very keen to continue at The Wyke if she can. She has been offered the opportunity to continue as a volunteer when her internship ends and Chloe is really happy to do this as she loves the horses and being at The Wyke.

The team at The Wyke are very supportive of Chloe. She has gained some excellent knowledge and experience as well as learning how to work as part of a team. Chloe has agreed to also try a placement in a Care Home which will give her more skills and experience and may lead to paid work for her in the future.

Well done, Chloe!
