The Employer Disability Support Service works with employers of all sizes across Shropshire. Our aim is to help businesses become more confident and competent in recruiting, employing and retaining people with:
- Disabilities
- Long term health conditions
- Mental health conditions
We do this through:
- Training and workshops
- 1-1 support and advice
- Inclusivity auditing
- Sector specific development coaching
- Supported internships
Our training offer includes:
Disability Confident – we can support you to achieve this Government standard at all 3 levels. Gaining this can help with improved recruitment, retention and productivity
Creating inclusive work places – learn about making your recruitment and hiring process more accessible and how a more inclusive work place can benefit your business
