Supported Internship Celebration Event

On Thursday 9^th July we hosted our first virtual event in aid of our Supported Interns. We usually gather annually to mark the end of the internship year, however, this year with circumstances as they are, we decided to do it online so that we could still say a big WELL DONE to our Interns and express our thanks and gratitude to our employers.

The presentation was led by Brendan Waterworth, Madeleine Edwards and Charlotte Kelly our Employment Officers in the Supported Internship Team at Enable. They work with our Interns who are referred from different learning settings and work with them to find a work placement for the academic year. Our Job Coaching team support our interns and guide them through all aspects of work life. It is hoped that by the end, the intern will either gain paid employment or a place on an inclusive apprenticeship.

Well done to our Interns that have navigated a really tricky year and completed their internship. Congratulations from us all at Enable!
